Latvian Christian Academy both practices and teaches Icon painting to students. Deeply rooted in ancient Christian Church traditions, it represents the sacred heritage of Christendom. In cooperation with Icon painters from Latvia, Russia, Sinai and Israel the Bible art faculty has been established. Icon painting is taught according to the Church canon.
